Wrap Studio is designed to know as little about you as possible.

What we don't collect

The template generator runs entirely in your browser. Your measurements, designs and downloads never leave your computer, and there are no accounts, no uploads and no tracking cookies. The only personal detail we can hold at all is an email address, and only if you choose to give us one for the new blanks list described below.

What we do collect

We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (page views and referrers only) to see which templates people find useful.

We also count a short list of product moments: a Pro window opening, a proof sheet downloading, an export finishing, a locked blank being picked. That is how the free and paid line gets decided on facts instead of guesses. Each count carries the name of what happened and at most a couple of plain values, such as the blank id or the export format — never a design, a measurement, a file name or an email address. The rule that enforces it is in the source, in src/eventguard.js, and it runs twice: once in your browser and again on our side, where nothing can talk it out of it.

To tell one visitor's five clicks apart from five visitors' one click each, a random id is generated in your browser and kept in its local storage. It is not a cookie, it is not derived from anything about you, and clearing site data throws it away for good. These counts are held by Amplitude under their privacy policy. We do not send them your IP address.

If you buy a Pro license, the purchase is processed by Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record) under their privacy policy; we receive your email and license key so we can support you, and nothing else. When you activate a license, the key is checked against Lemon Squeezy's license server and remembered in your own browser's storage.

If you join the new blanks email list

Once a template has downloaded, the generator offers to email you when new blanks are added to the library. It is entirely optional. Nothing on this site is behind it, and every free template stays free whether you sign up or not.

If you do sign up, we store your email address and nothing else: no name, no location, and no record of which templates you made. The list is held and sent by EmailOctopus under their privacy policy. We use it for exactly one thing, which is telling you about new blanks, and every email carries an unsubscribe link that takes you off the list straight away. You can also ask us at the address below to delete your record and we will.
